About

Since 2009 CJ Storm has been rockin the San Jose Bay Area as a Singer-Songwriter, a Musician-for-hire, a DJ/Producer and a fan of the local San Jose music scene.  Pulling from a broad range of genres, CJ took the acoustic singer-songwriter influence and introduced elements of electronica and shoegaze.  Some have described CJ’s musical style as a ‘modern’ The Postal Service meets U2 with a hint of Smashing Pumpkins and Slow Dive.

In past performances, CJ had the honor of playing main support for 2 rock legends: Sheila E and Davey Pattison from Gamma2 and Montrose fame.  During tour dates in the SF Bay Area, CJ Storm also had the opportunity to open for International Pop-Icons Diva 4 Divas for a couple of North American Tour stops dates.  In the South American countries of Ecuador and Peru, CJ wrapped up a 2 week tour performing at a Half-Time Show at a futbol (soccer) match.  And during the ``Shelter-In-Place”, CJ had been featured in a number of streaming festivals and ‘Artist Spotlight” sessions.

Currently, CJ Storm is primarily working on his solo project and poised to release his first solo studio album titled, “Still Standing” in early 2022.  CJ is also lending his talents as a bassist for 2 bands: The Poppy Jasper Band, an up and coming Southern Rock / Americana band from Morgan Hill, CA and Stormy Strong, a Salt-Water rock artist from Santa Cruz, CA.
